Dr. Jennifer B. Hughes
Dr. Hughes is your Invisalign provider for children and teens here at Bonita Children’s Dentistry. As a pediatric dental specialist, she has twenty five years of experience creating beautiful smiles. As a Diamond Invisalign® Provider, Dr. Hughes has become one of the region’s most experienced Invisalign providers, helping children, teens, and young adults achieve healthy, beautiful smiles through advanced clear aligner therapy. She will personally provide all Invisalign® treatment at Bonita Children’s Dentistry, allowing patients to benefit directly from her extensive expertise and individualized approach to orthodontic care. This level of expertise has elevated her to be one of the top 1% of providers in the country. Dr. Hughes has recently been named the first and only pediatric dental specialist to be a faculty member of Molis Coaching, a continuing education and training program for dentists, where she helps other dentists around the world plan their patient’s Invisalign cases.
Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Hughes earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morehead State University before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Kentucky. She completed a General Practice Residency at Children’s Hospital and University Hospitals in Oklahoma City, followed by advanced specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Her specialty training included extensive clinical experience at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Arlington Developmental Center, and Crittenden Memorial Hospital, where she cared for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs. These experiences helped shape the compassionate, personalized philosophy of care that continues to define her practice today.
Dr. Hughes is the founder and owner of three premier pediatric dental practices serving Southwest Florida: Pediatric Dentistry of Naples, Bonita Children’s Dentistry, and Harbor Bay Pediatric Dentistry. Each practice reflects her vision of creating an elevated dental experience where exceptional clinical care is delivered with kindness, compassion, and a personal touch.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Hughes enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, and their two children, Reese and Anna. Together, they love the Southwest Florida lifestyle and are honored to serve the wonderful families of Bonita Springs and the surrounding communities.
